We are looking for an Estate Assistant – Cleaning to deliver scheduled and responsive cleaning services across communal, internal and external estate areas, ensuring clean, safe and well-maintained environments for our customers. As this is a mobile role covering multiple sites, you will need to be able to drive and travel between locations to deliver cleaning services as required.
What you'll be doing
Deliver scheduled cleaning services to the agreed specification and service standards across communal, internal and external estate areas, creating clean, safe and well-maintained environments that customers are proud to live in.
Undertake routine and responsive cleaning and clearance, including spillages, sharps, anti-social behaviour (ASB) waste, litter, leaves, dog fouling and debris; empty litter and dog-waste bins; and clean and disinfect refuse areas and pest-related contamination such as pigeon guano, disposing of waste correctly.
Provide first-class customer service as an Estuary ambassador: engage with local customers, act as a first point of contact, address estate queries, concerns and complaints promptly, support complaint prevention, signpost customers, record actions and report unresolved matters to the line manager.
Remove bulk waste from communal areas to designated collection points and, where fly-tipping occurs, inspect and investigate the waste to identify those responsible.
Complete and record daily estate inspections, checking service delivery, internal and external areas, pathways, roadways and car parks; identify health and safety concerns, repairs, fly-tipping and evidence of ASB; and take remedial action or make areas safe where possible.
