Our client is an established business operating within the flexible packaging industry, with over 25 years of experience supplying specialist packaging films and solutions to customers across the UK.
The company offers a broad range of products and services, with a strong focus on quality, reliability and customer relationships, they work closely with customers to deliver tailored solutions to meet their individual requirements.
They are looking to recruit a reliable and organised Accounts Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative and accounting support, ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date, and maintained to a high standard.
Experience in Sage 50 is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Recording payments, receipts, and other financial transactions
Maintaining accurate accounting records and filing systems
Reconciling supplier statements
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Preparing routine financial reports and spreadsheets
Assisting with month-end procedures
Responding to supplier and customer account queries
Providing general administrative support to the finance teamCandidate Experience / Attributes:
Experience with Sage 50 (essential)
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Numerate with good attention to accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Excel and Sage accounting software
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
A good communicator with a professional approach
Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role is desirable
An accounting qualification or relevant training would be advantageous
