Hours: Full-time, Alternate Weekends

We're working with an independent, family-run garden centre that is looking for a horticultural assistant to play a key part in their plant area! The team is small, so every colleague counts in making the plant area a welcoming and knowledgeable environment.

About the business:

This family-run garden centre has been a working garden centre since the 1980's, but has been around long before this, trading in the local area. This is a lovely, local site that strives to be a warm and knowledgeable place for customers to come to.

About the role:

You'd be joining a small team in the plant area who have a wealth of horticultural knowledge. As a horticultural assistant, you will be a friendly face to help and support customers with any gardening or horticultural advice, as well as ensuring the plant area is well-displayed and maintained, and looks fresh and exciting.

Responsibilities:

Customer service
Providing expert advice to customers
Plant merchandising and seasonal displays
Working with stock and deliveries

Requirements:

Strong horticultural knowledge is required for this position.
Customer service experience would be desired
