Are you a Deputy Manager looking for a new opportunity, or a strong Team Leader or Senior Carer ready to take the next step?

Bright Selection is recruiting a Deputy Manager for a welcoming, 28-bed residential dementia care home in Maidstone, rated Good across all five CQC assessment areas in July 2026.

This role combines management responsibilities with hands-on care, with 22 office hours and 22 hours working senior care shifts each week, including alternate weekends.

What We’re Looking For:

A background in residential care, with a good understanding of dementia care
Previous responsibility for leading and supporting a care team
A confident, approachable manner and strong communication skills
A sound understanding of care standards, safeguarding and CQC requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
Lead senior care shifts, ensuring residents receive personalised care
Supervise, mentor and support the care team
Maintain accurate care plans and records, supporting audits and quality checks
Build positive relationships with residents, families and visiting professionals
