I'm working with a growing, ambitious building services contractor with a strong pipeline of secured London work, and they're looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the team.

This isn't a role where you'll be micromanaged or buried under layers of management.

You'll be given real ownership of high-value, technically interesting HVAC and mechanical projects, backed by a senior team that knows what they're doing and is investing heavily in the continued growth of the business.

And with a package exceeding £80,000, company car/car allowance and genuine progression on offer, this is a serious opportunity for an experienced PM looking for their next step.

The Role

You'll take full ownership of your projects from pre-construction through to completion, driving delivery across programme, commercial performance, quality and client relationships.

You'll be trusted to:

Lead HVAC & mechanical projects from conception through to handover
Manage site teams, subcontractors and specialist suppliers
Own programmes, costs and commercial performance
Manage variations, applications, valuations and change
Drive project progress and keep everything moving
Oversee testing, commissioning and final handover
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
Identify risks early and find practical solutions before they become problems
Ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard

The Technical Stuff

We're looking for someone who genuinely understands commercial mechanical building services, ideally with experience across:

AHUs
VRF / VRV
Chilled water
Chillers & associated plant
Ductwork
Commercial plumbingYou'll also need strong commercial awareness, excellent leadership skills and the confidence to take ownership when things get busy.
