Job Title: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 OTE

Shift: Rotating earlies and lates, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm, plus every other Saturday 6:00am - 12:00pm at time and a half

Type: Permanent

Location: Loughborough

We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client's Loughborough workshop, a leading commercial vehicle business.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing on trucks and trailers.

• Fast and accurate diagnostics and fault finding using diagnostic tools.

• Mechanical and electrical repairs, working independently.

• Vehicle inspections and compliance checks (MOT, tacho, etc.).

• Final checks on completed work.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Qualifications and Requirements:

• Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)

• Proven experience repairing and maintaining trucks and components

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Own tools preferred

• Valid driving licence
