£32,000–£35,000 Basic + Overtime

Are you the sort of person who spots a swirl mark from 20 paces? Does the sight of a poorly polished bonnet keep you awake at night? And do you believe a car isn’t truly clean until you’ve inspected it under three different lights?

If so, we might have just the job for you!

We’re recruiting on behalf of an independent workshop specialising in luxury vehicles, and we’re looking for a skilled Valeter / Detailer who knows that a quick wash and a go with a chamois simply won't cut it.

This is an opportunity to work with some seriously impressive cars, put your detailing skills to good use and earn £32,000–£35,000 basic salary, plus overtime. Because perfection takes time… and time-and-a-half makes it even better!

What will you be getting your hands on?

Machine polishing: Making paintwork shine like it belongs on a showroom turntable.
Paint correction: Tackling imperfections, removing swirls and restoring that deep, glossy finish.
Ceramic coatings: Giving luxury paintwork the protection it deserves.
Valeting and detailing: Making sure every vehicle looks its absolute best, right down to the details most people don't even notice.
Vehicle movements and driving duties: Getting behind the wheel when required.
Other workshop duties: Pitching in where needed to keep things running smoothly.

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have experience in professional vehicle detailing, including machine polishing, paint correction and ceramic coatings.

More importantly, you'll have:

A genuine passion for cars and an eye for detail that borders on obsession (we mean that as a compliment!).
Pride in producing a first-class finish.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get stuck in.
A full, valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.

What's in it for you?

£32,000–£35,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
Overtime available to boost your earnings.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm.
Saturday overtime, 8:00am–12:00pm, on a 1-in-4 rota, paid at time-and-a-half. A 1-in-2 rota would be ideal.
20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service to 25 days.
Free on-site parking.
An independent workshop environment working with luxury vehicles.
