We are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Hammersmith & Fulham. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Early Years professional looking to take on a leadership role within a nurturing environment that values high-quality childcare, teamwork and children's development.

The standout benefit of this opportunity is the term-time-only working pattern, offering school holidays off whilst allowing you to continue progressing within Early Years management. The role offers approximately £17 per hour, depending on experience, with 8-hour working days scheduled between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

You will be:

Supporting the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the nursery

Providing leadership, guidance and support to the wider Early Years team

Assisting with staff supervision, deployment and maintaining appropriate ratios

Supporting the planning and delivery of high-quality Early Years provision in line with the EYFS

Promoting a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn and thrive

Monitoring children's learning, development and wellbeing

Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and professional practice

Supporting staff development through mentoring, guidance and constructive feedback

Building positive relationships with children, parents and families

Assisting with nursery administration, policies and operational procedures

Working closely with the Nursery Manager to support continuous improvement across the setting

Taking responsibility for the nursery's daily operations in the Nursery Manager's absence

The successful candidate will have strong Early Years experience, ideally alongside previous supervisory, Room Leader or nursery management experience. A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable, together with a thorough understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.

We are looking for someone organised, proactive and confident in leading a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality Early Years education.
