Looking for a hands-on workshop role with full training and a real route into assembly and fitting?
Lodestone Recruitment is working with a well-established Bradford engineering business. They manufacture highly specified parts for global customers in mining, motorsport, oil, marine and aerospace and AI sectors.
They’re now looking for a Fettler to join their team, with genuine potential to progress.
What’s on offer

• £27,000 – £28,000
• Days only: Mon–Thu 07:00–16:00, Fri 07:00–12:00 (39 hours)
• Overtime available
• Permanent position
• Full training, with progression into assembly and fitting
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
• Company sick pay and attendance bonus

The role

• Deburring or fettling machined parts, castings and shafts using air grinders, drills, brushes and abrasives
• Operating bench and pedestal deburring equipment
• Engraving part and serial numbers using impact etching equipment
• Logging production, housekeeping and routine machine checks
• Supporting the assembly department when needed

What you’ll need

• Experience in an engineering workshop
• Confidence using powered hand tools
• A careful, methodical approach and an eye for quality
• Good manual dexterity
• A good standard of maths and English
• The ability to follow written work instructions
