Class Teacher

Reeson Education is seeking an enthusiastic and confident Year 1 Class Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Beckenham, starting in November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher with previous Year 1 experience who can create a positive, structured classroom environment and support pupils through this important stage of their learning.

The Role

Teach a Year 1 class on a full-time basis.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

Establish clear classroom routines and maintain high standards of behaviour.

Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Previous experience teaching Year 1 in a primary school.

Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a calm, purposeful classroom.

Confident in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

A positive, adaptable and committed approach to teaching and learning.
