About the Role

We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Domestic Electrician to join our team, working across Harrogate and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in domestic electrical installations, fault finding, testing and inspection, with a City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification being essential for this role.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, delivers excellent customer service and can work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Undertake electrical inspection, testing and certification in accordance with current regulations.
• Complete EICRs, electrical installation certificates and minor works certificates.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
• Carry out consumer unit upgrades, rewiring and additional circuit installations.
• Ensure all work complies with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate job records and complete all required certification and paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide a reliable, high-quality service.
• Manage daily workloads and ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician with a recognised Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (essential).
• Good working knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience working in domestic properties.
• Competent in inspection, testing, fault finding and electrical certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and maintain excellent attention to detail.
• Professional attitude with strong customer service and communication skills.
