PDI Technician

We are working on behalf of a reputable Stoke-based dealership to recruit a skilled PDI Technician.

This PDI Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for a committed vehicle technician to advance their career within a leading dealer group. The PDI Technician will ensure that all new and used vehicles meet stringent quality standards prior to customer delivery, contributing to the dealership’s reputation for excellence.

Competitive basic salary of £30,000, with the potential to earn up to £34,000 OTE including bonuses
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with no weekend work

Conduct detailed pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles to verify compliance with quality and safety standards
Perform routine servicing and repairs following manufacturer specifications
Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot efficiently
Carry out visual health checks and document findings meticulously
Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and meet customer expectations before delivery
Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction through thorough attention to detail and quality workmanshipRequirements:

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance or repair
Proven experience as a vehicle technician, with specific experience in vehicle preparation or PDI work preferred
Full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points
Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
