Primary teaching assistant SEND

Hours: 08:15am - 3:15pm

We're looking for someone who can:

Support children with a range of additional needs across KS1
Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group interventions
Demonstrate empathy, patience and a strong understanding of SEND to meet individual needs
Promote independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
Help children achieve their academic, social and emotional targets and celebrate their progress

The Role

Supporting pupils across KS1 on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Delivering targeted interventions to support academic and social development.
Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to implement individual support strategies.
Helping children develop confidence, resilience and independence.
Supporting learning across phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
Full-time, long-term position from January 2026 to July 2026.
