Spencer Clarke Tutors is seeking experienced and compassionate SEND Outreach Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition and educational support to learners across Durham.

You will work with students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety, school avoidance, and EHCP-supported learners, helping them re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, and other subjects.
Adapt lessons to meet individual SEND requirements.
Support academic progress, confidence, and engagement.
Provide session feedback and progress updates.

Requirements

Experience working with SEND learners.
Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or education support experience.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Right to work in the UK.
