Job Role: Machine Operator

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Rate: £14.00 £16.50 per hour

Role overview

Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by operating production machinery, maintaining product quality and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Operate and monitor production machinery in line with training and work instructions.
Feed materials into machinery and remove finished products.
Carry out visual quality checks and report defects.
Monitor output and flag machine faults or production issues.
Follow health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Maintain a clean, organised production area.
Complete basic production records and work effectively as part of the manufacturing team.Candidate requirements

Previous machine operating or manufacturing/production experience preferred.
Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
Reliable attendance and timekeeping.
Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets.
Comfortable with a hands-on manufacturing role.
