HGV Breakdown Technician – Sheffield

Early / Lates - Week 1: 06:00 - 14:30, Week 2: 14:00 - 22:30

The call out rota will be covering call outs which is on a rotation system, this can be discussed at interview.

Salary: £19.70 - £21.82 per hour, plus additional standby pay

Training provided – if you are a qualified technician, we can provide the breakdown training.

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our Sheffield team as our Breakdown Technician. If you’re experienced in heavy vehicles or you’re a technician from automotive, plant, agricultural, or military engineering looking to step into the HGV world, this is a great opportunity to develop your career with a leading manufacturer.

What you’ll be doing:

· Responding to roadside breakdowns and carrying out fast, safe, and effective repairs

· Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

· Completing servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on HGVs

· Delivering a high standard of customer service while working independently

· Ensuring all work is completed with safety front of mind

About you:

· Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

· A proactive, safety-focused approach

· The ability to work independently and under pressure

· Experience as an HGV, LCV, car, plant, agricultural, or military technician
