Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms

Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities

Vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitise all required surfaces

Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly

Follow cleaning schedules and daily task lists

Ensure housekeeping trolleys and storage areas are tidy, stocked, and organised

Handle lost property according to hotel policy

Work efficiently to meet room turnaround targets while maintaining quality

Skills & Attributes

Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good time management and organisation

Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standards

Physically able to perform manual cleaning tasks
