Vehicle Technician – Wimbledon

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a busy dealership workshop in Wimbledon. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have previous workshop experience, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK. Main dealership and independent garage experience are both considered.

Job Details:
Location: Wimbledon
Salary: £31,000–£37,000 basic, depending on qualifications + bonus
OTE: Up to £44,320 uncapped
Hours: 40 hours, Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm
Saturdays: 1 in 3, 8:30am–12:30pm

Carry out vehicle servicing to manufacturer standards
Complete vehicle health checks using modern diagnostic technology
Diagnose faults and carry out authorised mechanical repairs
Complete warranty repairs and accurate technical reports
Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs are successful
Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
Work with the Aftersales team to maintain high workshop standardsVehicle Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent – essential
Previous Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic experience
Main dealership or independent garage experience considered
Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills
Good attention to detail and willingness to develop technical skills
Full UK Driving Licence – essential
Right to work in the UKPrevious manufacturer-specific experience is advantageous but not essential, as accreditation training is available.
