Hours: Mon–Fri, 8.00am – 5.00pm | Permanent

An established architectural metalwork specialist in Basildon is seeking a Senior Metalwork Supervisor to lead daily workshop operations and deliver high-quality bespoke fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop Leadership: Lead daily workshop operations, managing workflow, labour, and timelines.
Technical Guidance: Interpret technical drawings and solve fabrication/assembly challenges.
Quality Control: Oversee standards to ensure components meet strict architectural specifications.
Team Management: Mentor and supervise skilled fabricators and welders.
Safety & Coordination: Enforce H&S standards while liaising with Design and Production teams.
Key Requirements

Proven supervisory experience in bespoke, architectural, or high-end metalwork.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal, structural fabrication, MIG/TIG welding, forming, and finishing.
Advanced capability to read complex engineering drawings.
Familiarity with workshop machinery (brake press, guillotine) and metals like mild/stainless steel, brass, and bronze.
