Joiners / Carpenters – Ongoing Work

Location: Cuddington, Cheshire & surrounding areas
Job Type: Self-Employed / CIS
Pay: £175 per day, with opportunity to increase
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Duration: Ongoing
Start: ASAP following a successful trial period

We are currently recruiting experienced Joiners / Carpenters to join a busy and expanding building contractor based in Cuddington, Cheshire.

There is ongoing work across multiple projects, including new builds, extensions, renovations and refurbishments, with the opportunity to secure a long-term position and progress within the company.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, skilled joiner with experience carrying out general carpentry and joinery work across building projects.

Work may include:

• First and second fix joinery
• Door hanging and fitting
• Skirting boards, architraves and finishing work
• Timber framing and general carpentry
• Joinery on new builds and extensions
• Renovations and refurbishments
• General building and repair work

• £175 per day to start
• Opportunity to increase your day rate with experience and progression

• Company van available after a few weeks, once you've proved yourself
• Van available for personal use
• Your own petrol/fuel costs covered by you; the company covers other running costs
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Work across Cuddington and surrounding Cheshire areas
• Self-employed / CIS basis
• Immediate start following a successful trial

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joiner / Carpenter
• Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking and professional
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Own tools and transport preferred initially
• NVQ and CSCS desirable but not essential
• Willing to complete a short trial period to demonstrate your skills
• Full UK driving licence required for the company van opportunity
