Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS) - Fully Remote

Location: Fully Remote
Contract: Ongoing Contract
Day Rate: £400–£450 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor to work fully remote on an ongoing contract basis. The project is a large industrial scheme so expereince wthin industrial & logistics projects would be desirable but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS with a strong commercial background to take ownership of commercial activities, manage project costs and support the successful delivery of projects within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of industrial projects.
Oversee cost planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.
Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
Prepare and review applications for payment and ensure timely commercial reporting.
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
Work closely with project managers, clients and stakeholders to ensure effective cost control.
Ensure contractual compliance and support the resolution of commercial issues.

Key Requirements

Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within commercial, indutsrial sector.
Strong commercial and contractual management experience.
Experience managing project costs, subcontractors, variations and final accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fully remote environment.
Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent industry experience.
