HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)

HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) – Evesham
£45,000 per annum | £18.00 overtime | Minimal handball | Permanent

Pertemps is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E Drivers for a company based in Evesham. You’ll complete 6–12 drops per day, with unloading using a tail lift and electric pump truck or by forklift. Handball is rarely required, usually only in an emergency.

The role:

Carry out Class 1 multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
Assist with loading and unloading when required.
Operate the tail lift and electric pump truck safely.
Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
Communicate with customers and the transport team.
Follow drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements.
Driver requirements:

Full UK Class 1 / Category C+E driving licence.
Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience.
Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
Maximum 6 penalty points, with no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements.
Reliable, professional and comfortable completing multi-drop routes.
Able to commute to Evesham.
Pay:

£45,0000 per annum
£18.00 per hour overtime (after 50h)
