Location: Tingley, West Yorkshire
Salary: £32,931 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join an established manufacturing business based in Tingley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in coordinating the warehouse team, maintaining high standards and ensuring materials and products move efficiently through the operation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and support the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.
Allocate workloads and coordinate tasks to ensure the smooth running of warehouse activities.
Oversee the movement, handling and storage of materials and finished products. Support stock control, goods-in, goods-out and accurate inventory records.
Work closely with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when required. Monitor productivity, quality and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety. Help train and develop team members, promoting a positive and productive working environment. Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate concerns where appropriate.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within manufacturing.
Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example. A strong commitment to health and safety, quality and operational efficiency.
