Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting a Sales Director for an established, privately owned business supplying technology, identification and tracking solutions to customers across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and retail supply chains.

Following organic growth and acquisitions, the business is looking for a commercially driven sales leader to work closely with the Managing Director and shape its next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on opportunity to lead an established commercial team, develop major customer relationships and bring greater structure to sales activity. You'll have the autonomy to influence the sales strategy, support your team's development and personally drive opportunities with strategically important accounts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone working in a Sales Director, Chief Revenue Officer, CRO, Sales Manager, Head of Sales or similar sales leadership role looking to join a successful business and take it on it's next phase of growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Lead, coach and develop a commercial team of five, including account management and business development.
• Build and deliver a sales strategy focused on profitable growth, customer retention and new business.
• Introduce structured account planning, identifying opportunities across customer sites, departments and product requirements.
• Take personal responsibility for selected strategic accounts and high-value opportunities.
• Set clear objectives and run regular performance reviews, helping individuals improve results.
• Strengthen pipeline management, forecasting and opportunity tracking through Microsoft Dynamics.
• Work closely with the Head of Marketing to connect campaigns and lead generation with sales activity.
• Lead commercial negotiations, protecting margins and securing sustainable customer relationships.
• Work alongside the Managing Director and wider leadership team, with scope to take on broader responsibility as the business develops.

ABOUT YOU:

• A proven track record as a Sales Director, Chief Revenue Officer, CRO, Sales Manager, Head of Sales or similar sales leadership role.
• Experience delivering measurable growth through both account development and new business.
• A strong people manager who can coach, motivate and hold a team accountable.
• Comfortable combining strategic leadership with personal sales responsibility.
• Commercially astute, with strong negotiation skills and an understanding of revenue, margin and profitability.
• Confident using CRM data to guide decisions and improve sales performance.
• Energetic, determined and proactive, with a collaborative approach and the initiative to make things happen.
• Able to attend the Tameside office regularly and travel to customers across the UK.
