Salary: From £40,000pa

The Opportunity

Join a specialist manufacturing team producing safety-critical equipment.

Work collaboratively within a precision engineering environment.

Operate on-site at a dedicated, clean, well organised manufacturing facility (not your typical machine shop)

Contribute to high-quality production standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines and multi-turret CNC lathes.

Plan and manage production schedules, including unmanned machining within a continuous manufacturing environment.

Deburr, fettle and finish components to required specifications.

Inspect components to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with technical requirements.

Skills and Experience

Ability to interpret CNC programmes, machine code and technical drawings, including assembly and finishing instructions.

Strong knowledge of cutting tools, materials and machining processes.

Experience with component inspection techniques, including pressure testing, magnetic particle inspection and paint finish assessment.

Basic IT and ERP system skills, alongside a commitment to teamwork, accountability, integrity and high professional standards.
