MOT Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealer group in Manchester, for the position of Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester. The Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role offers a competitive basic salary of £32,000, with additional earnings potential, including an extra £1,000 per year for holding a valid MOT licence. The MOT Technician role provides a realistic OTE of £36,000 to £42,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles to high standards
Complete MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
Conduct vehicle health checks and produce supporting videos
Accurately diagnose faults and deliver quality workmanship
Communicate effectively with workshop supervisors and service advisors
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
Participate in ongoing training and professional developmentRequirements:

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI, City & Guilds)
Proven diagnostic and repair skills
Previous experience in a main dealer or independent garage environment
Full UK driving licence
