Salary: To £32,000

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A well-established and highly respected engineering manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Fitter / Assembler to join its growing production team.

The business designs and manufactures specialist engineering equipment supplied to customers worldwide and has built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation, and technical expertise.

The Role

You will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, testing and fault-finding of electrical and electro-mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role that would suit candidates from an electrical assembly, panel wiring, machine build, electrical fitter or electro-mechanical background.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Electrical assembly and wiring of bespoke equipment

✅ Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings

✅ Panel wiring and installation of electrical components

✅ Testing, inspection and fault finding of completed assemblies

✅ Working with sensors, motors, switches and control systems

✅ Ensuring products meet quality and safety standards

✅ Supporting continuous improvement activities within production

✅ Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve production targets

Requirements

✅ Previous experience in Electrical Fitting, Electrical Assembly or Panel Wiring

✅ Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

✅ Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills

✅ Experience using hand and power tools

✅ High attention to detail and quality standards

✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
