Stores Operative

Our client, a well-established company based in Crawley, is looking for a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys a hands-on role involving goods in, picking, packing and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing parts accurately for customer orders.

Preparing and despatching packages.

Booking goods in and checking deliveries against relevant paperwork.

Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.

Maintaining accurate stock records and an organised stores area.

Operating a counterbalance forklift where required.

Occasionally delivering goods to local destinations using a company vehicle.

Supporting general warehouse and stores duties as needed.
About You

Previous warehouse experience, including picking, packing and goods-in duties.

Full, valid UK driving licence.

Reliable, organised and conscientious, with good attention to detail.

A proactive approach and the ability to see tasks through to completion.

Experience working with components or part numbers.

A valid counterbalance forklift licence.
What's on Offer?

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Salary of £25,000–£28,000 DOE

Permanent position with an established and growing business.

Free onsite parking.
