Admin - Service Advisor - Automotive

A major Commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking to employ an Administrator - Service Advisor for a busy and thriving dealership. The dual role will contain administrative tasks such as day-to-day invoicing for Depot, to include Warranty, Retail, Contract work and any other types of Invoicing, MOT Bookings, liaising with the workshop, clients and parts department and on the service desk during busy times, holiday and sickness cover.

ROLE: Admin - Service Advisor

LOCATION: Reading

BASIC SALARY: £30K TO £35K

BENEFITS: Overtime, bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare scheme

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. 1 in every 4 Saturday AM 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime

ROLE: Admin / Service Advisor will combine the two roles below, more administration, however covering the service desk also.

General Administrative duties, Invoicing

·To control and maximize service & repair bookings. Interpreting customers’ requirements in a courteous and efficient manner to ensure that all resources required in completing the work are available on schedule

·Support and maintain customer service schedules, MOT and O'Licence requirements.

·Audit job cards (workorders) and associated service documentation for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures.

·Ensure Service/Inspection Documentation is correctly completed, and customer defect procedures adhered to.

·Assist in maintaining a daily flow of quality job cards to Administration for costing/invoicing.

·Ensure Health & Safety and safe work practices are met at all times within these positions

·Check and issue sub let order numbers to specialist /external agents and to arrange/plan such work as required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Need someone with strong Administrative & customer service skills who can run and manage the front desk in busy periods and during staff sickness or holidays. An understanding of Keyloop, CDK & DMS is an advantage and also invoicing
