Help children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence.
Bromley, near Bromley Common | £200–£201 per day
Part-time (0.6) | Maternity cover
Transparency Education is seeking an experienced KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school, teaching a Year 2 class on a part-time maternity cover basis.
This is a school where children sit at the heart of a thriving, diverse and inclusive community. Staff take pride in their pupils every day, and the school’s approach goes beyond academic progress: it nurtures, challenges and develops the whole child, helping each pupil become ready and resilient for their next steps in learning and life.
The school describes itself as a magical place to learn and work. It is looking for a teacher who will bring care, commitment and enthusiasm to that community.
The role
You will provide engaging, well-organised teaching that supports children through an important year in their primary education. Working closely with colleagues, you will help maintain continuity during maternity leave and create a classroom where every child feels included, supported and challenged.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has recent KS1 teaching experience and the confidence to lead a Year 2 class.
Is highly organised, proactive and invested in the children’s progress and wellbeing.
Is a true team player who communicates effectively and works collaboratively.
Will contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one.
Why this opportunity?
A meaningful part-time teaching role in a welcoming school that values inclusion, celebrates its children and believes in developing every aspect of their potential.
Why work via Transparency Education?
