English and Media Teacher

Maternity cover| Full-Time | Start January 2026

We are seeking an experienced Teacher of English and Media available for a Maternity Cover starting January 2026.

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach both English and Media from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, delivering engaging, challenging lessons that inspire students across the ability range. You will play a key role in the school’s GCSE and A Level provision within a collaborative and well‑resourced department.

The school seek a teacher to start January 2027 and go up until the end of the academic year

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an English and Media specialist who brings:

• PGCE and QTS (essential)
• Experience teaching English and Media studies across KS3–KS5
• A strong track record of delivering top GCSE results
• Examiner experience (highly desirable)
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver ambitious, high-quality lessons
• Strong classroom management and a commitment to whole‑school involvement
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for student progress and achievement
