Job Description

Reactive Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join a social housing repairs and maintenance team covering various areas across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter with experience in domestic repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of carpentry repairs and maintenance within residential properties.
• Completing door repairs, hanging doors and fitting locks.
• Repairing and replacing skirting boards, architraves and door frames.
• Carrying out kitchen and bathroom carpentry repairs.
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
• Maintaining good communication with residents and the wider team.
• Working safely and professionally in occupied properties.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Carpenter.
• Experience in repairs and maintenance.
• Social housing experience preferred.
• Relevant NVQ or equivalent carpentry qualification preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
