Live In Carer

Salary: £760 per week

The Role

As a live-in care worker in Peterborough, you will live in the client’s home for agreed shift periods and provide continuous, person-centred support tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, toileting and continence support
• Helping with mobility and daily routines
• Administering or assisting with medication as per the care plan
• Monitoring health and reporting any changes or concerns promptly
• Companionship, emotional support and encouraging hobbies and social activities
• Preparing meals to suit the client’s preferences, dietary and cultural needs
• Light housework, including cleaning and laundry
• Keeping accurate daily notes, medication records and incident reports
• Following health and safety, safeguarding and infection control policies

• Caring, patient and reliable, with good communication skills
• Willing to live in the client’s home for agreed shift periods
• Able to work independently and use your initiative
• Care experience is helpful but not essential
