Production Assistant

Location: Cambridge (CB25)
Job Type: Temporary
Duration: Initially until 18/12/2026- possible extension for the right candidate
Hours: 8am until 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 3.15pm on a Friday
Salary: £13 per hour, increasing to £13.50 after successful completion of 3 months probation

Polytec are looking for a Production Assistant for our client based just north of Cambridge.
Responsibilities:

• Unpacking product
• Logging items on PC
• Unscrewing cases and assisting production staff to complete repairs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical assembly skills / test skills
• Good team worker
• Must be reliable and hardworking
• Own transport is required due to location
• Available to work overtime as required
