Service Administrator

Aldershot | £28,000–£34,000 per annum, depending on experience

We’re recruiting on behalf of an independent garage in the Aldershot area for an organised and proactive Service Administrator to support the smooth running of its busy workshop.

This is a varied administrative role, ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play an important part in coordinating workshop bookings, managing service administration and keeping everything running efficiently behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage telephone and email enquiries, arrange MOT, servicing and repair bookings, and respond to customer queries.
• Coordinate workshop schedules, prepare job cards and maintain accurate vehicle and customer records.
• Order service parts in advance and liaise with technicians to monitor work in progress.
• Keep customers updated on repair progress, additional work and expected completion times.
• Prepare invoices, process payments and assist with outstanding account queries.
• Manage parts returns, supplier invoices and financial administration, including entering invoices into Xero.
• Monitor MOT and service reminders, update records and support new business enquiries.
• Provide reception support for customer drop-offs and collections when required.

About You

• Previous experience in administration, ideally within the automotive or motor trade sector.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident using telephone, email and computer systems.
• Able to prioritise workloads, work independently and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• A proactive, reliable approach with the ability to work well in a busy workshop environment.

What's on Offer?

• £28,000–£34,000 salary, depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
• No weekend or bank holiday working.
• 22 days’ paid annual holiday.
