Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader – Stroud – £15 per hour

£15 per hour | 35 hours per week | Permanent | 4am–11am ideally but this can be changed to a 5am or 6am

Are you an experienced cleaner ready to take the next step into supervision? Or are you already a Team Leader or Supervisor looking for a stable, hands-on role that would be interested in getting into the Cleaning industry

We're recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader to take ownership of the cleaning operation at Retail store in Stroud.

You'll lead a small team of around 5 cleaners, making sure the store is cleaned to a consistently high standard and supporting the team when needed.

Wednesday and Saturday off

One permanent site – no travelling between locations

Who are we looking for?

You don't necessarily need to have held the exact job title of Cleaning Supervisor.

We're interested in people with experience such as:

Cleaner / Senior Cleaner

Cleaning Team Leader

Cleaning Supervisor or Manager

Housekeeping Supervisor

Retail Supervisor

Hospitality Team Leader

Facilities or Soft Services Supervisor

Logistics/Warehouse Team Leader

If you've been responsible for people, rotas, standards, opening/closing or day-to-day operations and you're comfortable being hands-on, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll need to be reliable, organised and comfortable starting at 4am, with the ability to lead a small team and communicate confidently with store management.

What will you be doing?

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning operation, including:

Leading and supporting a team of around 5 cleaners

Checking cleaning standards and carrying out quality inspections

Managing rotas, holidays and attendance

Supporting recruitment and training

Working alongside the team and helping with cleaning when required

Making sure equipment and products are used correctly

Dealing with issues and putting things right quickly

Working with the store management team

Ensuring Health & Safety and company procedures are followed
