Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Data Migration Manager on a 6 month rolling contract based in East of England.
Role Summary
Develop detailed project plan including all data migration activities for SGT rollout cluster.
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing data to determine scope and requirements for each local migration.
Collaborate Cross-Functions Master Data Governance and Data Migration Factory as well as with local Data Stewards to ensure alignment and readiness for data migration activities.
Lead the execution of Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded into the SAP system.
Continuously monitor migration activities to ensure they are proceeding according to plan and maintaining data quality standards
Address and resolve any issues or errors that arise during the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
Drive rigorous testing and validation of migrated data to confirm accuracy and completeness in the new system environment.
Ensure adequate documentation of the data migration process, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) according to compliance and audit standards
Responsibilities
Responsible for the successful execution of data migration within respective cluster
Accountable for setting data object scope, ownership, source system and data migration strategy and approach for the respective cluster.
