Mechanical Construction Manager – M&E

SSA are recruiting a Mechanical Construction Manager on behalf of a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering CAT A, CAT B, and Shell & Core projects. You will oversee mechanical works on site, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring installations meet programme, quality, and Health & Safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installations from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site labour, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor progress against the programme and resolve installation issues.
• Review drawings and inspect works for compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and coordinate with electrical and wider project teams.

Requirements

• Experience managing mechanical construction works within M&E contracting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and associated mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate site activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Relevant mechanical qualification or equivalent trade experience, with appropriate site safety certification
