Location: Erith, Kent (near Dartford / South East London)
Salary: £58,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday | 08:00–16:30 + 1 in 2 Saturdays | 05:00–13:00
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician to join a busy workshop in Erith.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician looking for a stable weekday role with strong earning potential, overtime opportunities and ongoing manufacturer-approved training. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and inspections on HGVs and trailers.

The Role

Carry out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
Complete servicing, inspections and planned maintenance
Carry out diagnostics and fault finding
Support breakdown repairs when required
Maintain accurate service records and paperwork
Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop
Requirements

Essential:

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Previous HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician experience
Ability to identify worn and faulty components to DVSA standards
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Desirable:

Diagnostics and electrical experience
