Sales Executive - Fabrication

Location: Hockley, Essex

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 - DOE

Hours: Full-time, permanent

Benefits: Up-capped commision on top of base salary.

Our client is a specialist business working with bespoke ceramic sheets, including assembly, shaping and lettering to meet customer requirements. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Executive to support their expansion and drive new business opportunities.

This is a newly created position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the Fabrication industry to join a close-knit team and play an important role in the company's continued success.

Working closely with the existing office team, the successful candidate will focus mainly on business development i.e. outbound sales, developing customer relationships and securing larger orders. Full training will be provided on the company's software.

Sales Executive - Position Overview

Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
Meet potential clients and build relationships face-to-face.
Identify potential customers and develop relationships to secure larger orders.
Proactively follow up on sales enquiries, quotations and potential orders.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships within the fabrication industry.
Understand customer requirements and communicate the company's products and services effectively.
Work closely with the office and warehouse teams to support the smooth progression of customer orders.
Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and follow-up tasks using software.
Identify opportunities to increase sales and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Manage sales activity independently, prioritising leads and following up opportunities effectively.Sales Executive - Position Requirements

Previous experience within the ceramics industry is highly desirable.
Previous sales, telesales, business development or account management experience.
Confident making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, commercially minded and motivated to generate new business.
Organised, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and sales opportunities.
Comfortable using computer systems, with a willingness to learn Zoho software; training will be provided.The Opportunity
