Position: Technical Customer Support
Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

As a Technical Customer Support, you will be an integral part of the Technical Support Department, serving as a vital link between the Service and Customer Service departments. This role provides an excellent platform to enhance your technical expertise while working closely with trade professionals and end-users.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Provide first-class technical and sales support via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Offer technical support to internal teams.
• Manage the spare parts database, ensuring accuracy and compatibility across brands.
• Act as a conduit between the Service and Customer Services departments, managing service administration.
• Support the Product Specialist with demonstration and review stock, testing and understanding products to increase the knowledge base.

Skills and experience:

• Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
• Keen interest in electronics and/or audio-visual equipment.
• Experience working in retail or similar customer support/service roles (desirable).
• Comfortable working with business software and digital systems (desirable).
• Experience with home AV, home audio, smart home, or consumer electronics, even as a hobbyist (desirable).
