You'll be given real responsibility early, with experienced surveyors beside you, and a clear route towards chartership.

The work

• Support condition surveys and defect investigations, from site visit to written report
• Prepare drawings, specifications and schedules of work with design colleagues
• Help put together tender documentation and review tender returns
• Learn contract administration on live projects: valuations, variations, certificates and final accounts
• Attend site and client meetings, take notes and follow up actions
• Carry out site inspections and record progress, quality and compliance
• Build your own small caseload as your confidence grows
• Keep a record of your experience and work towards your APC submission

You

• A building surveying or related degree (must be RICS-accredited)
• Curious, organised and happy to ask questions
• Confident writing reports and speaking to clients and contractors
• Keen to work towards MRICS
• Full driving licence for site visits

The package

• Competitive salary DOE (£30,000 - £40,000)
• APC support and mentoring, study time, benefits and progression
• Hybrid working
