ERP Operational Support Specialist (Data & Reporting)

Location: Barton-Upon-Humber

Salary: £45,000–£55,000

Type: Permanent

An industry‑leading UK business is looking to appoint an ERP Operational Support Specialist to support the reliability, accuracy and day‑to‑day usability of their core data, reporting and ERP systems.

This is a hands‑on operational role where you’ll play a key part in keeping business‑critical systems running smoothly, supporting users across the site and ensuring reporting outputs remain stable and accurate.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting existing reporting, data and ERP functions. This includes working with SQL, supporting Crystal Reports and administering the ERP system (including user setup, permissions and printers). You’ll develop a strong understanding of how the systems work, investigate issues as they arise and help drive small improvements that enhance reliability and usability.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support reporting and data extraction systems

Develop, write and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures

Provide ongoing support and updates for Crystal Reports

Administer ERP users, permissions, printers and system configuration

Investigate and resolve data, reporting and ERP‑related issues

Build knowledge of systems and workflows to support operational users

Implement small continuous improvement changes

Maintain clear and up‑to‑date documentation

Support upgrades, rollouts and integrations

Skills & Experience

Strong SQL database, query and stored procedure skills

Proven experience with Crystal Reports

ERP or operational systems experience (Epicor BisTrack desirable but not essential)

Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability

Ability to reverse‑engineer issues and understand system behaviour

Willingness to learn and develop deeper system knowledge
