Learning Support Assistant - Physical Disabilities & Complex Needs

Location: Northampton
Salary: £92.56-£95per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive school in Northampton, providing dedicated support to students with physical disabilities and complex needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in care, SEN or support work who is confident providing both personal care and physical support.

The Role

Providing 1:1 and/or small-group support to students with physical disabilities and complex needs
Supporting students with personal care where required
Assisting with manual handling, mobility and transfers
Supporting students to access learning and participate fully in school life
Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide consistent support

Requirements

Previous experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities and/or complex needs
Essential manual handling experience/training
Experience supporting with personal care
Patient, caring and adaptable approach
Previous experience within a school, care or support setting is desirable
