Administrator

Our client, who is an established business in Hatfield, is seeking a proactive Administrator to keep their daily operations running seamlessly.
This role is split between 80% sales, logistics, and office administration alongside 20% ad-hoc accounts assistance during peak periods or staff absences.
Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with couriers, track deliveries, and prepare despatch and export paperwork.
• Follow up with suppliers for delivery updates and outstanding stock or sample requests.
• Monitor central email inboxes, handle incoming phone calls, and direct queries.
• Send out customer samples and keep digital and paper filing up to date.
• Provide general day-to-day administrative assistance to the sales team.
• Assist with basic accounts tasks (invoice processing, light credit control) during peak periods or team absences.

The successful candidate will have:

• 2+ years’ experience in office admin, sales support, or logistics.
• Professional phone manner and strong communication skills.
• Accurate with details and basic numbers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
