Plasterer

Location: Lambeth

Salary: £22 per hour plus van & fuel

Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Social Housing Plasterer to join our repairs and maintenance team. You will be responsible for carrying out plastering, rendering and associated repair works across occupied and vacant social housing properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plastering and rendering repairs in social housing properties.

Repair damaged walls, ceilings and plasterwork following leaks, damp, general wear and other property damage.

Complete patch plastering, skimming, boarding and making-good works.

Prepare surfaces and apply plaster, render and other finishes to a high standard.

Carry out repairs in occupied properties while working respectfully around residents and their belongings.

Complete planned, responsive and void property works as required.

Identify additional defects and report any issues requiring further attention.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Complete job sheets and relevant documentation accurately.

Comply with all health and safety requirements and company procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within social housing, local authority, housing association or property maintenance environments.

Strong knowledge of plastering, skimming, rendering and making-good techniques.

Ability to deliver a high-quality finish with minimal supervision.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

Relevant trade qualifications are desirable.

Full UK driving licence is required
