Transport Administrator

Our client based in South Witham, Grantham is a leading organic liquid waste management company who currently have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join their team as soon as possible!

The role will be a temporary to permanent opportunity and will be a fully office-based role, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

The client is flexible with shift times and is happy to consider either an 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm. The pay rate for the role will be £13.85 per hour.

Working within the Transport Team, your duties will include:-

• Inputting data into company systems
• Sending schedules and information to customers
• Checking data for accuracy and updating as required
• Maintaining fleet lists to reflect locations and assets
• Running reports and distributing to relevant departments
• Answering the telephone, both internal and external calls
• Note taking in meetings as and when required
• Supporting in maintaining driver records accurately
• General administration support

We are looking for a strong Administrator (ideally within a transport background), who is proficient in the use of MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook and who is happy being on the phone and confident when speaking to drivers.

Please note, due to the remote location of the site own transport will be essential.
