Goods In Operative

My client are currently seeking a Goods In & Out Operative / Driver for their specialist manufacturing facility based in Alfreton.

Your day to day duties will include, but won’t be limited to;

• Receiving incoming shipments, checking for damages or discrepancies and processing outgoing orders
• Safely operating a company van for deliveries and collections
• Loading, unloading and moving parts around the factory using a forklift truck
• Packing components and products ready for customer dispatch
• Completing manual and digital logs accurately
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following company procedures, Health & Safety guidelines and PPE requirements
• Safely lifting and handling heavy items where required
• Assisting in other areas of the department when required

Requirements;

• Previous goods in/out, warehouse or stores experience is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Forklift counterbalance licence/experience
• Basic computer skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when required
• Reliable with excellent time-keeping and attendance

Hours of work are;

Monday to Thursday - 7am - 3:30pm
Friday - 7am - 2pm
(Overtime available during busy periods)

This role is being offered on a full-time basis, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
