Wheel & Bodywork Refurbishment Technician
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £14.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Overtime: Available at enhanced rates
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Wheel & Bodywork Refurbishment Technician to join our workshop team in Doncaster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out wheel, tyre and bodywork refurbishment on HGV vehicles, working efficiently and to a high standard. The role plays an important part in maintaining the safety, performance and presentation of the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Safely jack up vehicles and support them on axle stands to remove wheels.
Remove and refit tyres from wheel rims safely and accurately.
Identify and record rims or tyres that are damaged beyond repair.
Document tyre positions and vehicle wheel fitment.
Carry out wheel refurbishment using industry-standard techniques.
Complete wheel station smart repairs when required.
Carry out minor cosmetic bodywork repairs where required.
Identify cosmetic damage and proactively complete repairs.
Maintain an adequate stock of refurbished wheels.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
Hands-on experience in wheel, tyre or bodywork refurbishment.
HGV or commercial vehicle experience would be advantageous.
