Machine Operative – Sheet Metal
Location: Eccles
Salary: £13.31 per hour
Shift: Days
We are currently looking for a Machine Operative to join our team in Swinton, working with a range of sheet metal machinery.
Previous experience working with sheet metal machinery is not essential. We are keen to hear from candidates who have a manufacturing or machine operating background and are looking to learn new skills and develop within the role.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

Operating sheet metal machinery safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading materials

Following production drawings and instructions

Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Working as part of a busy manufacturing team
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience as a Machine Operative or within a manufacturing environment

Is keen to learn and develop new skills

Has good attention to detail

Can follow instructions and production processes

Is reliable and has a good work ethic

Is comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
Sheet metal experience is not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
